Jessica Lurkins, owner and operator of Catering by Jess, has been part of the food industry since childhood, growing up in a family of restaurant owners. She and her husband also owned a restaurant back East, building a strong foundation in food service and hospitality.

After a 44-year professional career in healthcare as a Registered Nurse, Jessica developed a deep appreciation for nutrition and quality food. While currently working in the education field at a local high school, she has returned to her passion for cooking and serving others through food.

This new catering venture is an exciting chapter, focused on providing quality meals at reasonable prices for any occasion.

Krissy’s Treats is owned and operated by local baker Kris Lurkins. After time spent in the cosmetology and skincare industry, Kris has returned to a long-time passion—creating homemade breads, jellies, jams, butters, and baked goods.

With a focus on wholesome, high-quality ingredients, Kris is dedicated to offering the community delicious homemade products at affordable prices. Recently registered with the Arizona Cottage Food Program, her products are made with care and attention to detail.

She is active in local market vendor events, with products also available for online ordering.
